Bengaluru: Travel recommendation portal HolidayIQ (Leisure and Lifestyle Information Services Pvt. Ltd) on Thursday said it hired Vikas Rana, former chief executive officer of Must See India, a travel planning website as its chief technical officer to lead its tech team of 45 and scale infrastructure.

HolidayIQ received $15 million from MakeMyTrip Ltd who acquired a minority stake in the 120-member company. Earlier it had received Series A investment from venture capital firms Tiger Global Management and Accel Partners.
