Tata Power-led consortium to set up 236 MW hydro project in Himachal
Mumbai: A consortium of Tata Power and Norwegian hydro power company SN Power has won a mandate set up the 236 MW Dugar Hydro Electric Project in the Chenab Valley in Himachal Pradesh.
Both companies had entered into an exclusive arrangement in 2009 to develop hydro power projects in the Himalayan region of India and Nepal.
Apart from the Dugar project, the consortium is developing the 880 MW Tamakoshi 3 project in Nepal.
