Paris: Airbus is close to a deal to sell a shorter range version of its A330 wide-body jet to Saudi Arabian Airlines, La Tribune said on Sunday.

The deal, set to be announced at the 15-21 June Paris Airshow, would be the first order for the A330 regional jet.
