Chennai: Bunge India Pvt Ltd, a leading agri-business player in the Indian hydrogenated vegetable oil market, has set a sales target of 80 crore from its new variant of the Dalda edible oil range-Dalda Refined Sunflower oil.

The company, which took over the Dalda brand from Hindustan Lever Ltd (HLL) in 2003, is looking at a market share of 25% from its vanaspati products by 2010 and 25% in oils by 2011, Adhiraj Sarin, Managing Director, Bunge India Pvt Ltd, told reporters in Chennai.

Bunge, which has operations in 30 countries and 400 facilities across the world, was looking at a turnover of 1,500 crore from its Indian operations this year as against 1,100 crore last year.
