DLF gets Board’s nod for borrowing $1.5 bn


New Delhi: Country’s largest realty firm DLF said on 11 October it will borrow up to $1.5 billion (Rs5,900 crore) through a loan from the overseas market.

The board of director of DLF on 11 October approved the raising of loan through its wholly-owned subsidiary abroad for up to $1.5 billion, the company said here.

Its board also gave consent for the company’s participation in the proposed IPO of DLF Offices Trust, Singapore, for up to $750 million.

DLF also received approval for investment in projects or companies in furtherance of its business in India and abroad for up to $750 million, the company said.
