Air India looks to fill COO post, seeks applications
New Delhi: Air India has sought applications for the post of chief operating officer (COO) based in Mumbai, one of the key appointments planned as part of a restructuring plan involving government aid of about $1 billion (Rs4,880 crore) over the next three years.
The COO will have a three-year contract, which can be extended by two years, and will be responsible for “overall operational performance of the company", including engineering, in-flight and commercial departments, according to the notice on the carrier’s website.
