Kaizen invests Rs20 cr in Your Kids ‘R’ Our Kids
New Delhi: Kaizen Management Advisors Pvt. Ltd, India’s first education-focused private equity fund, has invested Rs20 crore in Bangalore-based child-care services provider Your Kids ‘R’ Our Kids (India) Pvt. Ltd (YKROK). The company has a unique model of tying up with corporate customers to offer child-care services to professionals.
“Tie-up with corporate customers ensures bulk enrolments and a sticky customer base. The business model has reasonable pricing power and high entry barriers,” said Sandeep Aneja, founder and managing director, Kaizen Management Advisors.
Founded in 2002, YKROK has 15 centres across India in partnership with 50 companies. It intends to use the money to expand.
YKROK plans a pan-India network of 65 centres serving more than 10,000 children in the next five years.
In 2010, YKROK had raised Rs10 crore from venture capital firm India Venture Partnership.
