Jammu and Kashmir Bank Q2 net profit rises 13.5% to Rs196 cr
Gross NPAs rose to 6.46% in the Sep quarter from 4.73% in the year-ago period
New Delhi, Nov 14 (PTI) The Jammu and Kashmir Bank on Saturday reported a 13.5% increase in net profit of ₹ 195.62 crore for the second quarter ended 30 September. The bank had posted a net profit of ₹ 172.3 crore in the year-ago period, its said in a regulatory filing.
Total income declined marginally to ₹ 1,847.84 crore during the quarter from ₹ 1,883.16 crore in the year-ago period. During the quarter, gross non-performing assets (NPAs) increased to 6.46% from 4.73% at the end of corresponding quarter last fiscal year. Net NPA also rose to 2.78% from 2.46% of the total assets.
