OnMobile MD and CEO Mouli Raman resigns
During his tenure, OnMobile made good progress in expanding its global footprint
New Delhi: Mobile value added services provider OnMobile Global Ltd on Wednesday said its managing director (MD) and chief executive officer (CEO) Mouli Raman has resigned.
“When Mouli Raman took over as the CEO of the company, the key challenges were to provide stability, continuity and focus to the company that he had co-founded. During his tenure, OnMobile made good progress in expanding its global footprint—the Ringback Tone business wins in Africa, Asia and Latin America being noteworthy," OnMobile said in a statement. His next move was not disclosed. He also led the company in laying the groundwork for the next stage of growth with increased focus on people, process and technology. “Mouli has decided to resign after achieving what he set out to do," the statement said.
The company will make an announcement on the new CEO in due course and Raman will continue as CEO till the new person is on board to facilitate a smooth transition. “It has been an extremely fulfilling journey as CEO and I look forward to OnMobile scaling newer heights," Raman said.
On his exit, OnMobile Global chairman H.H. Haight said, “Mouli is an institution by himself at OnMobile and we truly appreciate his contributions and steadfastness. Our sincere thanks to him for all these years of outstanding contributions." Headquartered in Bangalore, OnMobile offers services in 59 countries to over 92 telecom and media customers.
