ITC Hotels, RP Group sign MoU to manage five hotels in India and Dubai

Mumbai: ITC Hotels has entered into a partnership with RP Group Hotels and Resorts, promoted by businessman Ravi Pillai, to manage five hotels in India and Dubai.
The two companies signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Sunday for the management of two properties under ITC’s 5-star brand WelcomHotel and three hotels under its upscale Fortune brand, ITC said on Monday.
This comes as a part of ITC’s expansion of its hotels business. The company plans to add several managed hotels, including a super-premium luxury hotel in Mahabalipuram, WelcomHotel in Jodhpur, Patna and Chandigarh, and more than 30 hotels under the Fortune brand.
ITC runs and operates 90 hotels in at least 70 destinations under four brands—ITC Hotel in the super-luxury segment, WelcomHotel in the 5-star segment, Fortune in the mid-market to upscale segment and WelcomHeritage in the heritage leisure segment.
