Cadbury India investigates worm claim

Mumbai: Cadbury India Ltd, the Indian arm of Mondelez International Inc., said it was examining an apparent instance of a worm being found in a bar of chocolate made by the company.

“We are looking into the matter,” said a Cadbury spokesperson, adding that it had received a complaint and that the company was talking to the consumer. No details are available, she said.NextMAds

In October 2003, Cadbury had to deal with bad publicity over worms in its flagship Cadbury Dairy Milk brand in some shops in Maharashtra and Kerala.
