CEOs more bullish on growth prospects

Chief executive officers in India are more confident about economic growth prospects than global peers, shows a survey by PricewaterhouseCoopers

Chief executive officers (CEOs) in India are more confident about economic growth prospects than their global peers, according to the 18th annual global CEO survey by PricewaterhouseCoopers, a consultancy firm.

CEOs in India see more opportunities than threats, the survey found. Inadequate basic infrastructure and corruption are the top domestic concerns of Indian CEOs, who also fret about volatile energy costs and availability of key skilled workers.

Mobile technologies for customer engagement are seen by them as the most strategically important for their organizations, the survey found.
