AppVirality raises $500,000 from Rajan Anandan and others
The company is planning to use funds for product innovation and increasing team size
Mumbai: San Francisco-based software services company AppVirality Inc. said on Monday that it has raised $500,000 from a group of investors that includes names Rajan Anandan (managing director of Google India), Brijesh Kumar Agrawal (founder, IndiaMart), Bikky Khosla (founder, TradeIndia), Clicklabs, and Aloke Bajpai and Rajnish Kumar (founders, iXiGO).
The company had raised an undisclosed amount in January.
The company that was founded in 2014 by Ram and Laxman Papineni is planning to use the funds for product innovation and increasing the team size from 12-25 in next 12 months.
“In today’s startup scenario, it is only logical to look for synergies to bring best services together for the consumers. Appvirality’s expertise in growth hacking is a great asset for boosting mobile platforms because both are building solutions that compliment each other," Samar Singla, founder of Clicklabs, said in a statement.
The company helps mobile app developers identify and implement growth techniques without the need to code. Currently, its solutions are used by apps operated by MakeMyTrip, Airtel, Quikr and many others.
