DHL Express hikes freight charges

New Delhi: DHL Express, a division of the German logistics company Deutsche Post DHL Group, announced its annual general average price increase, effective 1 January.

Every year, DHL adjusts its prices by taking into account inflation, currency dynamics and other rising costs, such as expenses related to compliance with enhanced security regulations.
The price adjustments are different for each of the 220 countries that it serves, depending on the local conditions. Last year too DHL Express had announced a similar price rise of 6.9% in India.
