Corporate | GAIL, Petronet in talks to raise LNG imports
Singapore: GAIL India Ltd, Petronet LNG Ltd and other state oil companies will hold talks with Qatar, the world’s biggest liquefied natural gas (LNG) producer, to buy an additional 5 million tonnes of LNG.
The cleaner-burning fuel may be sent under a multiyear contract to Petronet’s Dahej and Kochi LNG terminals and GAIL’s Dabhol receiving facility, according to a government statement on Wednesday.
