Mumbai: US drug maker Bristol-Myers Squibb Company (BMS) on Wednesday named Jitendra Tyagi as country head of its Indian arm, Bristol-Myers Squibb India Pvt. Ltd.
Tyagi, as India head, will now report to Michael Norman, general manager–Middle East, Africa and India.
Tyagi joined BMS India in 2010 as director, market research, and has had diverse commercial roles at the company in the past four years. In his most recent role in BMS, he led the critical care and cardiovascular business unit, where he also managed an alliance with rival Pfizer India Ltd.
Before joining BMS, Jitendra spent more than 21 years at Novartis India Ltd.
