Mumbai: Indian retailer Trent Ltd said on 18 September it will manage and operate Benetton Group’s Sisley stores in India, and will expand the brand’s operations in the country.
Trent, part of India’s salt-to-software Tata Group, runs department stores and a music and book store chain.
“We believe that Sisley has a high potential for growth and we will leverage our experience to optimise the tremendous opportunity," Noel Tata, managing director at Trent, said in a statement.
Sisley has three stores in New Delhi, the Indian capital. Stores would be opened in Hyderabad and Bangalore over the next few months, Trent said in the statement.
