University of Cambridge, Bharti Enterprises sign research MoU

New Delhi: With an aim to promote crop productivity and research in India, the University of Cambridge and Bharti Foundation on Monday signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to conduct corn/baby corn crop improvement research programme.

Bharti Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Bharti Enterprises, will give a sum of 5 crore to University of Cambridge during the three-year agreement to conduct research in agricultural productivity in collaboration with Punjab Agricultural University and FieldFresh Foods.
