SpiceJet launches fare sale to mark 11th anniversary

The three-day sale will be open till midnight of 19 May for domestic travel period 15 June to 30 September and international travel period from 1 June to 20 July

New Delhi: Budget airline SpiceJet Ltd has launched airfare sale, offering fares starting at 511, excluding taxes.

The airline said it was launching the sale to mark its 11th anniversary.

The three-day sale launched on Tuesday will be open till midnight of 19 May for domestic travel period 15 June to 30 September and international travel period from 1 June to 20 July, it said in a statement.

The special offer is also available on some of the very popular routes like Dehradun, Bagdogra, Udaipur, Jaipur, Goa, Port Blair and Kochi in the domestic network and Bangkok, Colombo, Dubai and Muscat in the international network, it said.

“These special fares are our way of expressing gratitude to our valuable customers who have supported us in this turnaround," said Shilpa Bhatia, senior vice-president (commercial), SpiceJet.

Searches on the airline’s website indicated the Delhi-Mumbai one-way economy ticket, inclusive of all charges, was going for 4,836 for next week against 3,637 in June and 2,680 in August. The same ticket for Delhi-Dharamsala was 7,412, 3,551 and 1,129, respectively, for the same periods.
