Bangalore: Private equity firm Milestone Capital Advisors Ltd has hired Dhruv Jain as chief financial officer (CFO) and head—risk management, the company said on Thursday.
He will look after financial control, treasury, budgeting and risk mitigation activities at Milestone and its subsidiaries, and will play an important role in growing the debenture trustee and non-banking financial company (NBFC) businesses for which licences have already been secured.
Jain brings with him 21 years of experience across industries. Prior to joining Milestone, he was the group CFO at India Infoline Ltd (IIFL).
Milestone has been making senior hires to strengthen and resurrect its business ever since its founder Ved Prakash Arya passed away in 2011. His wife Rubi Arya, a director in the company, plays an active role in the business now. In January, Milestone also hired Alok Aggarwal as managing partner and chief executive to ramp up its real estate private equity business.
Milestone Capital Advisors manages an AUM (assets under management) of ₹ 3,200 crore across eight funds covering real estate, bullion products and portfolio management services and will soon launch its 10th fund in the real estate space.
