OnMobile appoints François-Charles Sirois as non-executive chairman

Bangalore: Mobile value-added services provider OnMobile Global Ltd on Tuesday named François-Charles Sirois as its non-executive chairman.

Sirois, who joined the board on 26 June, replaces H.H. Haight, who was chairman till 20 August.

Rajiv Pancholy, managing director and chief executive officer of OnMobile, said: “Sirois’s knowledge and insights will be invaluable in planning and navigating the next phase of our growth.”

Sirois is currently the president and chief executive officer of Telesystem Ltd, a global media and technology holding. He is also the president and chief executive officer of OnMobile Systems Inc., the largest shareholder of the company.

Sirois serves as director on the boards of various companies, including Telesystem, Zone3 Inc., Stingray Digital Group Inc. and iPerceptions.

At 10.28am, shares of OnMobile were trading up 1.52% at ₹ 33.40, while the benchmark BSE Sensex was at 26,436.68 points, the same level as the previous day’s close.
