Mumbai: Multi-brand car servicing firm Mahindra First Choice Services today said it has appointed YVS Vijay Kumar as its chief executive officer.
Vijay Kumar joins Mahindra with 23 years of experience in the automobile industry. His earlier stints were with Maruti Suzuki, Behr India, Gabriel India and Hindustan Motors-Mitsubishi, the company said in a statement.
Mahindra First Choice Services is a part of the Mahindra Group’s after-market sector, which was established in 2008, to create a business ecosystem in the organised sector, which replicates the ecosystem for new vehicles.
In addition to Mahindra First Choice Services, the sector consists of two more verticals-- Mahindra First Choice Limited (for purchase and sale of pre-owned vehicles) and Mahindra Spares Business (for both Mahindra and non-Mahindra spares).
