New Delhi: HCL Infosystems Ltd on Wednesday appointed Premkumar Seshadri as executive vice-chairman of the company.
Seshadri has been a non-executive director on the HCL Infosystems board since March.
In the past, he held leadership positions in HCL Enterprise including HCL Frontline, the channel division of HCL Infosystems and HCL Technologies Ltd. At HCL Technologies, he headed the over $1 billion in revenue financial services and healthcare verticals along with corporate alliances, partnerships and global expansion.
He also served as group chief executive officer at Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd, before returning to HCL.
“Prem is a senior HCL leader with deep expertise and experience in the IT industry. I’m confident he will add great value to the long-term strategic growth plans of HCL Infosystems and further strengthen the company’s management depth during this period of transformation for the company," said Nikhil Sinha, chairman of the board of HCL Infosystems.
“My earlier stints at HCL were truly exciting and fulfilling and I am excited to be back in the group as executive vice-chairman of HCL Infosystems," said Seshadri. “The company is going through an important transformation of its business as it repositions itself for the next stage of growth.
