Mumbai: Infosys Ltd said on Thursday that it has signed three exclusive partnerships with Microsoft Corp., Hitachi Data Systems (HDS) and China-based telecom vendor Huawei for cloud, big data and enterprise analytics solutions.

India’s second largest software services exporter will be expanding its decade-long partnership with Microsoft to help enterprises transform their business and tap opportunities in cloud, analytics and other service offerings on Microsoft technologies. Infosys will also establish a global centre of excellence for Microsoft Azure Machine Learning, capable of training over 1,000 engineers by the end of 2014-15.

With HDS, Infosys’ partnership will bring next-generation infrastructure and data centre transformation solutions to enterprises. Infosys will also establish a centre of excellence to jointly create pay-per-use solutions with HDS.

The partnership between Infosys and Huawei will see a joint offering of cloud, Big Data and communication solutions to enterprise customers, combining Huawei’s Cloud infrastructure and Infosys’ global IT service expertise.

“Infosys is focused on helping customers succeed with software and services to both grow their business in new ways and to achieve operational efficiencies," said Vishal Sikka, chief executive officer and managing director, Infosys.

Infosys shed 1.08% to 3,699.90, while the benchmark Sensex rose 1.81% to 27,112.21 points.
