Honda Siel resumes regular production
Mumbai: Honda Siel Cars India Ltd has resumed regular production with two shifts from Wednesday, the company said in a statement.
To begin with, the company will focus on clearing the delivery backlog for the Brio, the compact car it introduced in September.
“We are hopeful to clear most of the current Brio bookings within March 2012 and deliver cars to these waiting customers," said Jnaneswar Sen, senior vice president marketing and sales.
Honda has an order backlog of 7,000 for the Brio and 3,500 for the City. Production of the City has already resumed and more than 1,500 were rolled out in January. Production of the Brio will restart in mid-February and the Jazz at the end of February.
