ITC raises prices of some of its cigarette brands
New Delhi: India’s largest cigarette maker ITC Ltd has increased the price of some of its premium cigarette brands by almost 10%. This is the company’s second price hike in the last six months. Wholesalers and retailers selling ITC products confirmed that prices of brands such as India Kings, 555 and Benson and Hedges (B&H) have gone up by up to 10%.
A pack of India Kings now sells at Rs110 instead to Rs100, while 555 and B&H brands cost Rs105 for a pack against Rs100 earlier. An ITC spokesperson confirmed price hikes on select brands.
