Dmitry Shukov to take over as CEO of Sistema Shyam from 1 June

New Delhi: Sistema Shyam TeleServices Ltd (SSTL), which operates under MTS brand in India, on Wednesday said Dmitry Shukov will be the new chief executive officer of the company and will assume charge from 1 June.
Vsevolod Rozanov, the current President and CEO of SSTL, will move to Sistema JSFC headquarters in Moscow.
“...Dmitry Shukov expected to take over from Vsevolod Rozanov, the current President and CEO of SSTL. The leadership change would come into effect after completion of all the relevant corporate procedures. The transition in leadership is expected to be effective from June 1, 2013," the statement said.
Rozanov, who was at the helm of SSTL since October 2008, is being elevated to a senior position within Sistema JSFC, details of which will be announced after completion of all due corporate procedures, it added. “Vsevolod’s leadership and strategic direction provided to SSTL was immensely valuable...look forward to working with him in Sistema," Sistema JSFC Chairman of the Board Vladimir Evtushenkov said.
Shukov has 20 years of experience and he was previously the CEO of MTS Turkmenistan and MTS Uzbekistan, it said. “Dmitry has a wealth of operational experience, business acumen, and inspirational leadership needed to spearhead SSTL’s next phase of growth," Sistema JSFC President Mikhail Shamolin said.
