Board approves purchase of operations of hospital on slump sale basis
New Delhi: Fortis Healthcare on Tuesday said its board has approved to buy facility based in Shalimar Bagh in the city from its subsidiary.
The company’s board, which met on Tuesday, has approved “purchase of operations of Fortis Hospital, Shalimar Bagh by the company from its subsidiary, Fortis Hospitals Ltd on slump sale basis, as a going concern," Fortis Healthcare said in a filing to the BSE.
The board also approved the constitution of corporate social responsibility committee of the board of directors comprising of P.S. Joshi (chairman), Malvinder Mohan Singh and Harpal Singh, it added.
Fortis Healthcare shares on Tuesday closed at ₹ 97.65 apiece on the BSE, down 0.10% from the previous close.
