Mumbai: City Synapse Information Pvt. Ltd, which operates the home aggregator and rental management start-up Zenify, has raised 6 crore in Pre-Series A (early stage) round of funding from a group of high networth individuals.

The Bengaluru-based company had earlier raised 4 crore in angel funding from Srikanth Maguluri and Bharath Maguluri of K12 Techno Service Pvt. Ltd and Atul Jalan, founder of Mathan Software Service Pvt. Ltd.

Founded in 2012 by Sudarshan Purohit, Kailash Rathi and Ankur Agarwal, Zenify will use the funds to expand its range of services across major cities in India and strengthen its team.

The company aims to standardize the market rental pricing by predicting the market value of each property listed on its portal.

“We have been concentrating on developing new services to ease pain points of rentals in India. We strongly believe that the real estate industry has a lot of potential for change and growth and the impending years will bring about the required changes. Over 90% of the rental property booking is being done online through Zenify," said Purohit.

India has an untapped market of 4.5 billion for managed home rentals with 4 million unattended NRI properties, according to estimates by the company. Zenify, which was formerly known as realtykart lists over 1,700 properties available for rent across Bengaluru.
