Reliance BIG TV connection to come free with LG TVs

New Delhi: Reliance BIG TV said on 4 June it has entered into an agreement with Korean major LG Electronics for bundling DTH connections with LG colour televisions.
RBTV said that upon purchasing an LG colour TV set, the customer can now avail a Reliance BIG TV connection -- coupled with a one-month silver pack.
The customer will have to pay Rs399 as installation charges, it added.
Reliance BIG TV is the direct-to-home (DTH) arm of Reliance Communications.
The offer, valid till 30 June 2010, would be available across Karnataka, Rajasthan, Punjab, Bihar, Jammu and Kashmir, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Haryana.
“We are excited about this partnership that brings in a dramatic scaling of reach and unprecedented value proposition for LG customers. We will aggressively pursue cross-category alliances to reach out to a broader spectrum of end users," RBTV senior vice president Umesh Rao said.
