New Delhi: Bharti Airtel on Wednesday appointed Andrew Kossowski as chief information officer for its pan-Africa network of 17 countries.

Kossowski takes over from George Fanthome and the appointment will be effective from 15 May, the company said in a statement.

“Kossowski will be instrumental in driving the IT strategy for our Africa business through a strong central team of subject-matter-experts, whilst building superior execution capabilities within all the 17 countries that we operate in," Airtel Africa CEO Christian de Faria said.
