Offer is open to all entrepreneurs who are running a start-up, making profit and looking for seed or early-stage funding
Chennai: Venture capital firm Ventureast has invited entrepreneurs looking for funds to tweet their business ideas.
The offer is open to all entrepreneurs who are running a start-up, making profit and looking for seed or early-stage funding. Those with a disruptive business idea and looking for mentors can also take part in the contest, a statement from Ventureast said.
Those shortlisted in the #140characterpitch challenge will have a one-on-one with the Ventureeast investment team on 31 October at TiECON Chennai 2015, an annual conference for entrepreneurs from technology companies, venture capital firms, and service providers.
The firm, which has been funding early-stage companies for over 15 years, has enabled over 80 seed, early and growth-stage businesses in a broad array of sectors including technology, healthcare and clean environment.
India’s longest-standing venture capital institution has asked the entrepreneurs to tweet the ideas to @ventureast and a maximum of two tweets per idea or entrepreneur will be considered. The entries close on 30 October.
