Man Jit Singh named president of IBF
Indian Broadcasting Foundation board meet on Saturday also names new vice-presidents, treasurer
Mumbai: Man Jit Singh, chief executive officer (CEO) of Multi Screen Media Pvt. Ltd, which runs channels Sony Entertainment Television and SET Max, among others, has been appointed president of the Indian Broadcasting Foundation (IBF). IBF is body that represents television broadcasters both in the news and non-news space.
Singh replaces Uday Shankar, CEO of Star India Pvt Ltd.
An IBF board meet on Saturday also elected Sunil Lulla, managing director and CEO of Times Television Network; Punit Goenka, CEO of Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd; and Rajat Sharma, chairman and editor-in-chief of India TV, as vice-presidents. Rahul Johri, senior vice-president and general manager, South Asia, Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific, has been appointed treasurer.
