Anand Siva has been appointed vice-president of Saatchi & Saatchi Solutions, the specialized arm of Saatchi & Saatchi India Ltd, which offers 360-degree communication solutions. V. Shantakumar,managing director of Saatchi says: “Anand’s coming on board will significantly reinforce our arsenal. He brings not just ‘knowability’ to the game but also ‘doability’ so that the ideas that we create for our clients are also tangible on the ground."
Probal Gaanguly, head of sales, Media Content and Communication Services (MCCS), has decided to move on. MCCS airs channels Star News, Star Ananda and Star Majha. Gaanguly is joining INX Media Ltd as group director, sales.
Prateek Srivastava has joined the board of Ogilvy & Mather India Ltd. With more than 20 years experience in advertising, Srivastava is currently group president, O&M South, and also oversees the Lenovo worldwide hub operations for the agency. O&M’s South India operation spans Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad. Srivastava joined Ogilvy in December 2000 to head the Bangalore operations. Prior to Ogilvy, he worked for Lowe (Lintas) Worldwide in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Sanjay Nazerali has joined as controller of marketing, communications and audiences at BBC Global News. Nazerali moves in from The Depot, a marketing consultancy he co-founded in 1998, where he was marketing director.
