New Delhi: The Indian Broadcasting Foundation (IBF) reelected Man Jit Singh, chief executive of Multi Screen Media Pvt. Ltd that runs Sony’s Indian channels, as its president at its 14th annual general meeting on Friday.

Singh said the past year had been eventful for the broadcasting industry with the onset of digitization and progress towards a new audience measurement system.

“Substantial challenges continue in the current year. We need to build on the success of content regulation, continue the process of digitization and work collaboratively with the broader industry."

The IBF board elected Rahul Johri, senior vice-president and general manager (South Asia) at Discovery Networks, as a vice-president of the lobby group, apart from existing vice-presidents Punit Goenka, who is the managing director and CEO of Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd, and Rajat Sharma, chairman of Independent News Services.
