Skin care ads grow 68% on the tube
New Delhi: Advertising of skin care products on television rose by as much as 68% in volume during the first quarter of 2008, over the corresponding quarter the previous year. Within this category, fairness creams had the largest share of the TV ad pie at 28%.
A report titled ‘Advertising of Skin Care sector’, released by AdEx India, a division of TAM Media Research, also says Ponds India topped the list of advertisers on TV during the quarter under consideration.
