The top Google searches on Tuesday were not surprising at all. Search topics related to board results have been trending for several days as different state boards have been announcing their results. Other top searches included Spice Jet, the Reserve Bank of India and tennis star Rafael Nadal. These searches were triggered by a flash sale offered by Spice Jet, the RBI cutting repo rates and the French Open, respectively.

Searches for Spice Jet peaked at 50,000 plus on Tuesday as the airline announced another 3-day sale, under which it is offering all-inclusive fares starting Rs1,299. The carrier has introduced the sale to celebrate the completion of 10 years of operations and also its return to profitability after six quarters.

Not surprisingly, Reserve Bank of India was a high-search term on Tuesday with the central bank announcing a cut in interest rates. All searches led to Livemint.com’s report on the same issue.
