Floor space for 2016 Delhi Auto Show sold out

The Auto Components Expo will be held from 4-7 February and will be organized at the Pragati Maidan

New Delhi: Indian automobile industry lobby group Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (Siam) on Tuesday said that it has sold out all available floor space for the 2016 Delhi Auto Show to be held between 5 and 9 February in Greater Noida, near New Delhi.

The Auto Components Expo will be held from 4-7 February and will be organized at the Pragati Maidan in New Delhi.

Siam, in a press statement, said that it added 7,000 sq m more space than the previous edition.

The total indoor exhibition area this time has increased from around 42,000 sq m in 2014 to over 50,000 sq m in 2016, which is almost a 20% growth.The 2016 edition of the show will feature at least 40 vehicle manufacturers including at least makers of 22 passenger and commercial vehicles.

“We are delighted to have successfully sold out the space for the upcoming motor show," Vishnu Mathur, director general, Siam said. “This time we expect the show to become bigger, better and more exciting."
