Ajay Gahlaut, regional creative director, Rediffusion DY&R Pvt. Ltd, which handles Airtel’s business, has put in his papers, according to people familiar with the development. They add that he is expected to join Ogilvy & Mather Pvt. Ltd
Star Network has set up a sales office in Los Angeles in order to expand both Hindi and Mandarin language programming in North America. Star vice-president, distribution and sales, David Wisnia is heading this office. The new office will market and drive distribution of Asia’s most popular networks in North America.
Ad agencyPublicis Ambience Advertising Pvt. Ltd has appointed two national creative directors, Ashish Khazanchi and Prasanna Sankhe. Khazanchi had recently quit Rediffusion DY&R as executive creative director. Sankhe was working with Ambience Publicis as executive creative director.
There have been some promotions and executive level changes at NDTV Media. The company has promoted Neeraj Dutt, its former executive vice-president, as chief operating officer. He is expected to head their overseas ventures. Avinash Kaul, senior vice-president, has been made executive vice-president. Raj Nayak, CEO, NDTV, confirmed the same to Mint. Also, Shyatto Raha has been appointed CEO of its subsidiary company, Emerging Markets BV.
