His wrestling film Sultan, co-starring Anushka Sharma and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, scores and delivers a solid entertainer with heft, says The Indian Express. Even while struggling with familiar Bollywood tropes, Zafar surprises us by keeping the slack moments mostly at bay in this 170-minute enterprise. For Hollywood fans, American 3D computer animated comedy The Secret Life of Pets, directed by Chris Renaud and Yarrow Cheney and starring Louis C.K. The storyline is very thin, but the screenplay is decently engaging, especially in the second half. Santhanam shows great evolution as a lead actor, and his comic timing is sure to tickle the bones. Malayalam romantic comedy Shajahanum Pareekuttiyum, directed by Boban Samuel and starring Kunchacko Boban, Jayasurya and Amala Paul, is a decent entertainer for those in the theatre only to laugh their hearts out, says manoramaonline.com. Although revolving around a funny love triangle, the movie has a streak of suspense right from the opening scene to the very end and manages to maintain a level of curiosity throughout.
