Where Trends data comes from

Google Trends analyzes a percentage of Google web searches to determine how many searches have been done for the terms you’ve entered compared with the total number of Google searches done during that time.

Here are the top trends for Wednesday.

1. CBSE Class X results

500,000+searches

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class X results for this year have been delayed. The result was earlier expected to be announced on 27 May. It is now expected today.

2. HSC result

500,000+searches

The Maharashtra HSC results for Class XII was the second-most searched topic all of Wednesday as the state board declared its results. Konkan was on top with 95.68%. The result can be checked on the Board’s official websites at maharesults.nic.in, mahahsscboard.maharashtra.gov.in or even at result.gov.in

3. CBSE

200,000 + searches

CBSE and all such related searches such as ‘CBSE results, Class 10 results, CBSE class 10 results 2015’ were widely searched since the CBSE X Results 2015 are to be announced today. Over 13 lakh students are awaiting the results of their CBSE X Board exam today. On 25 May, the CBSE Class XII results were announced with a pass percentage for girls being 87.57% and 77.77% for boys.

Students can check or download their results on the Board’s official websites—cbse.nic.in and cbseresults.nic.in. CBSE Class X results can also be accessed through SMS and IVRS, which is available through certain mobile phone operators.

4. Jet Airways

50,000+searches

Jet Airways on Wednesday put one million seats up for grabs on domestic flights as it announced another sale offering a flat 25% off on tickets for travel within India.

‘The Million Sale’ by the domestic carrier is valid for travel between 15 June and 15 October and the tickets must be purchased between 27 and 30 May, the airline said.
