New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is going to declare the results of the National Eligibility-Cum-Entrance Test (NEET) 2017 soon on its official website, according to the information available on the government of India’s exam results website.

The NEET results were scheduled to be declared Tuesday, but the website now says “no new result is scheduled to be announced in next few days".

The CBSE was supposed to announce the NEET results 2017 on 8 June. It was, however, postponed after the Madras High Court order stayed the declaration of the results. A group of petitioners had alleged that uniform question papers were not given in the NEET 2017 exam. The CBSE had sought vacation of the stay.

Here’s a step-by-step guide to check your results:

■ Log on to official websites:

■ Once on the homepage, click on link that says ‘Results 2017’.

■ Enter your registration number and other details.

■ Take a printout and also download a copy for future reference.

More than 11 lakh MBBS and BDS aspirants had appeared for the NEET. It was conducted in 10 languages at over 1,921 centres across the country this year.

The anticipation for NEET results 2017 is due to the exam replacing all other entrance examinations for admission into medical and dental courses at all government-aided and private medical and dental colleges.
