New Delhi: Budget airline Tigerair has cut its fares by almost half for its flights from India to Singapore.

The airline is offering return fares from about 10,999 from five Indian cities for travel between 11 July and 30 September, the airline said on Monday.

The cheapest regular return airfare between Bengaluru and Singapore was costing 20,345 for June, according to fares on travel portal Makemytrip.com.

Tigerair operates a total of 35 weekly flights to Singapore from Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Lucknow, Kochi and Tiruchirappalli.

The offer is up for booking between 30 May and 8 June.

Leslie Thng, chief commercial officer, Tigerair, said the airline “added value for money to passengers through such promotions which makes their international trips more affordable".
