Mumbai: Tresiba, the new basal insulin by Novo Nordisk A/S, the world’s largest insulin maker, will hit the market by October. Tresiba, which is the brand name for the molecule Degludec, is used for the treatment of type 1 and type 2 diabetes.

Basal insulin helps control blood sugar between meals and during sleep.

Tresiba is one such product that reiterates our commitment and passion for delivering better value to people with diabetes." said Melvin Oscar D’souza, managing director, Novo Nordisk India during the launch.
