CCI clears UK fund group CDC’s investment in India Infoline Finance

The investment will give CDC Group a stake of 15.45% in IIFL Finance, a part of IIFL Holdings

New Delhi: The Competition Commission of India (CCI) on Monday approved the Rs1,000 crore investment being made by the UK government-owned CDC Group Plc in financial services firm India Infoline Finance Ltd (IIFL Finance).

The investment will give CDC Group a stake of 15.45% in IIFL Finance, a part of IIFL Holdings Ltd.

The anti-trust regulator posted the approval on microblogging site Twitter on Monday evening. A copy of the order was not immediately available on the CCI website.
