Mumbai: The country’s newest bourse, MCX Stock Exchange Ltd (MCX-SX), said on Thursday that it had started listing services with three companies entering its capital market segment.

Dabur India Ltd, Pennar Industries Ltd and DSPC Ltd got listed on the exchange on Thursday.

“With this, MCX-SX is now geared up to list shares of companies that are already listed on other exchanges and of those companies proposing to come out with initial public offerings," the exchange said in a statement.

MCX-SX is promoted by Financial Technologies (India) Ltd and Multi Commodity Exchange of India Ltd. It began operations in February with 1,116 companies that were in the permitted-to-list category.

While the listing of a company generally requires signing an equity listing agreement, a provision in the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Act allows bourses to directly admit certain stocks that are already listed on other national-level exchanges.
