Burmese farm stew

1 tbsp oil

5 shallots, sliced

250g mutton liver, sliced

300g boneless chicken

250g chinese cabbage

150g cauliflower, diced

80g bean sprouts

100g mushrooms

50g celery, chopped

1 tsp black pepper

5g garlic, chopped

Salt to taste

1 tbsp soya sauce

2 eggs

1/2 cup water


Heat a pan and add oil. Add garlic and cook for a minute, then add shallots and sauté till they turn translucent. Add the liver and cook for a few minutes, then add the boneless chicken. Next add the mushrooms and salt to taste. Keep stirring.

Add the chinese cabbage, cauliflower, celery and water. Cook till the leaves have wilted and then add the bean sprouts. Add soya sauce and pepper. Lastly, add the eggs and boil the stock for a few minutes.

Serve with steamed noodles or rice.
