Radish Cake with XO Sauce

250g white radish, chopped

1 tsp chicken broth powder

1 tbsp XO sauce (a spicy seafood sauce)

1 egg

5-10 French beans, blanched

1 spring onion, julienned

2 tbsp oil

Salt and pepper to taste


Pan-fry the radish in 1 tablespoon oil till half done, keep aside to cool. Heat the remaining oil in a wok, add the radish and stir in the egg. Cook the ingredients for 2 minutes. Mix in the chicken broth powder and XO sauce. Add the French beans, spring onion juliennes, and salt and pepper. Cook for an additional 2 minutes. Serve hot.
