When evening comes

birds return

But not those who had gone

When night comes

lamps light up again—

But not those that extinguished yesterday

The dry river fills up

the waters lovingly caress the shores

But not those who

after turning into clouds, flew away

I shall also return

in love, in your poems, in your house

after crossing eternity

But not those

who had left this place—
