Anchor

Price: Free

Available on: Android, iOS

Anchor is a social media platform for music and podcast enthusiasts. Designed on similar lines as Sound Cloud, this new app allows users to share short audio clips called waves on the platform. The app has a simple layout with all posts showing on a vertical scroll. These posts usually carry the user name, some detail on what the post is about. You can use hashtags to make your post easily searchable. It has a search bar which makes finding content easier. If you like an audio clip, you can reply on the post directly, like it or save it for offline access. In case it carries offensive content, you can block the user from your timeline or report the post.

REOS Message

Price: Free

Available on: Android

This is a messaging app with elements of a chat messenger. It comes with spam filter which identifies and block spam messages. But the big highlight is that it clubs your messages into different categories by itself. The first category, Main, shows your personal messages from friends and names in your phonebook. The second category, Promo, shows all promotional messages send by a restaurant you order food from, or a shop form where you bought something. The third category, Notification, shows messages from banks, or notification regarding PNR status or bookings.

Axis Pay

Price: Free

Available on: Android, iOS

Axis Pay is a mobile payment app by Axis Bank which supports RBI’s new unified payment interface (UPI). The objective behind the UPI and the app is to help users send money, make bill payments or shop at online stores with a few taps on the phone’s screen. User can send and receive up to 50,000 in one go and at any time in the day. To access it, one needs a bank account in any bank, a PIN and a virtual address which will be used to identify the user. Users don’t have to save their card credentials on it.

VMate

Price: Free

Available on: Android

VMate is a video streaming service for Bollywood fans. The app carries a bunch of Bollywood content such as movie trailers and video songs. Its prime attraction is the movie premiere feature where a user can stream a recently released Bollywood movie in HD resolution before any other online platform. As of now, the inventory includes the recently released Irrfan Khan movie Madaari. It has a few movies including Ajay Devgn’s upcoming movie Shivaay in the pipeline. The lack of content is a major limitation and its only relevant if you want to watch a newly released movie.
